Recently in September, the author Gary Hogg came for a day to our school. If you don't know who Gary Hogg is he is a wonderful children's author who has really inspired me. He has written books such as the Charlie Bacon, and the Spencer's Adventure's series. One of the things he has taught me that has helped me as a writer is learning to think twice. In this video he will talk about how you make your writing sound twice as smart.📚
As you can see, bigger and more specific words can make you sound way smarter than you truly are. If you want to learn more about Mr. Hogg, visit his website at https://garyhoggbooks.com/

To make sure your writing is the best product as possible, you have to make sure that you have a plan and know what your topic is. Your technique though really depends on the type of writing you are doing. There are 4 main types of writing. ✏
Narrative Writing ( Tells stories)
Descriptive Writing (Paints a picture with words)
